How to run the event
Admin setup (do this once before the event):
- Import the WIP Write-Off sheet — go to the WIP Write-Off List tab and click Import / Replace. Choose the WIP write-offs Excel file. This is the master list of parts the company wants back, with dollar values.
Each engineer (during the event):
- Sign in — engineers go to the site, click Create an account, and enter their first name, last name, @agilent.com email, and a password (8+ chars). The account works immediately — no approval needed.
- Add parts — on the Black Stock tab, click Add Parts. Type each part number in the dark box (the description fills in automatically if it's known). Click the disposition chip if the part isn't New/Unused. Press Enter (or click Add) to commit. Use ↑/↓ arrows to change quantity. The part moves to Recently Added; click its (add description) link to fill in a missing description from the part's label.
- Submit returns — on the Return Opportunities tab, check the parts to return, pick a box, and click Add Selected Items to Box. Type the FedEx tracking number into the box, then click Finalize. You'll jump to History with the box expanded.
- Print SPL labels — in History, click Print Labels (or Preview Labels) for any submitted box. One label per part; each box prints on its own page.
Forgot password? Click Forgot password? on the sign-in screen, enter your email, and ask an admin — they'll see your request in Manage Accounts and give you a reset link.
Admin wrap-up (end of day):
- Export the management report — on the WIP Write-Off List tab, click Export Returned Items. This produces the final CSV (all WIP rows, quantities updated, FSE + tracking filled in) for management/SAP.
- Print reports (optional) — the Print Reconciliation Report and Print WIP Write-Off List buttons give printable PDFs.
- Back up — click Export DB to download a full JSON backup of the session.
Next reconciliation day? Admin's New Session button archives the current event's history (still viewable in History, grouped by date), starts a fresh event, and prompts for a new WIP write-off sheet. It preserves engineers, accounts, all past history, and the parts catalog (descriptions accumulate forever across events).

New Stock List
Black Stock = parts that CAN contribute to WIP write-off returns.
Trunk Stock = parts that will NEVER be offered for WIP returns (personal/carry stock).
Start New Session
This archives the current event's history (it stays viewable under its date) and starts a fresh reconciliation with a new WIP write-off sheet.
Always preserved: engineers, accounts, all history, and the parts catalog (descriptions accumulate forever).
Stock lists are normally reused between events. Only check this for a true clean start.

SPL Label Creator
Create SPL labels manually — type the part info and generate a printable label sheet. This does NOT affect WIP write-offs or stock. It's for labeling parts that aren't in the WIP system.
